Dear Sirs,
It may interest you to know, pseudo-ephedrine seems to be toxic to many insects that subsist off human hemoglobin. Fleas, bed-bugs, head lice, and even carnivorous German cockroaches appear to have an innability to metabolize it and die. I have no conclusive evidence on mosquitoes, unfortunately.
