Man erases hard drive,judge said man had a "duty to preserve the computer' This is a story that I intend to keep an eye on. This could set some relavant precidents. Namely
- Is the IP address and time stamp enough to convict some one of copywrite volation.
- Can the fact that he erased the computer be used aginst him in court ? (5th admentment anyone)
- Can Paramount show damages when the defendant didn't profit?
