I actually do own this book. I think it is a fabulous work. And I agree that the authors should be compensated for their efforts (that's why I bought and registered "the damned book"), but it is quite nice to have an electronic copy. I don't know about you, but I already have to haul a laptop around and I find a PDF file adds considerably less weight to my bag than a 720 page hard-copy book does. I have many other technical books that came with a CD containing an electronic copy of the book. I just think it's a nice feature I guess. Maybe I'm asking too much.
