Watching the Animations on Kevan's it seems that either
- the number of participants was few or one at times, so the drawing almost seemed deliberate and planed. ( not what you would expect from a hive)
- This system works well, so long as the asshats/trolls aren't present
The stuff about the asshats, makes you think. It's depressing that the actions of what may well be less than 1% of a given population can destroy creative input of the rest.
along the same lines, the
Typophile Smaller Image
Generation Experiment did the same thing with letters. It is no longer in opertion, but the contrast image is interesting. that tells you almost as much about the ideal image as the average one.
