How To Write Unmaintainable Code I beleive this is a document that combines text that I have already seen with some that I have not. The best proof of the "multiple sources" theory is that some concepts are repeated, ( like the use of charcters that look simmalar in many fonts). The Tone changes throughout the document as well. At times the tone is casual, other parts are downright hostle to the "maintence programmer" that folows you.
Also the idea of useing "PRIVDATA" is duplicated.
My personal favorate:
#define a=b a=0-b
I'ts so simple yet so powerful. At the inital programmer, you could control when a gets the inverse of b so simply:
b=1;
a=b; // -1
a= b; // 1
But to make it even worse, I would add:
#define a==b a=1/b
