a simple jquery slideshow with image fade [jonraasch.com] Took me just incredbly way too long to find one of these that would fit my needs. the first four or FIVE that I tried failed for various reasons.
- The version of Jquery used,conficted with my site
- The demo version worked, but it failed when I pasted the same code into my existing site, various errors,
- The project depended on redefining some basic page elements such that the rest of the page's formatting was totally ruined
I really like jonraasch's version because if you already use Jquery, it can be done with about 20 lines of javascript/css embedded in the subject file. No other include files required. I can't praise it more.
