Adding the following will keep your SSH connection alive mostly indefinitely if you are idle (although it won't reconnect if disconnected).

ssh_config:ServerAliveCountMax 120
ssh_config:ServerAliveInterval 60
ssh_config:TCPKeepAlive yes
sshd_config:TCPKeepAlive yes
sshd_config:ClientAliveCountMax 180
sshd_config:ClientAliveInterval 60
