to disable demo mode on my kenwood mp343u I had to follow these instructions . This was very annoying because this procedure is not the procedure described in the products manual. I guess they want to be sure that nobody inadvertently turns off the demo mode when the stereo is on display in the store. I'm just glad I found this. I was getting Ready to return the item to the store as defective.
